THEATRE MARQUEE
Design | Metal fabrication Austin Playhouse opened a second small theatre named after Texas playwright Larry L. King (he wrote Best Little Whorehouse in Texas). I was commissioned to not only design the sign, but also plasma cut from steel and install it on the roof of the building. I incorporated the likeness of Larry King into the design. The sign was powder coated and I attached copper sheeting behind for the negative space. I also made a miniature version for Larry to keep. |
