Sims Castaways was fun yet challenging for me since I had total freedom with the styling of all the UI for this island theme. The challenge was to add new UI elements and features throughout while maintaining the integrity of the existing well established puck and menu systems.

Well over 50 custom icons had to be created all in a style of the island theme. I also ended up creating a custom hand rendered font for the in-game journal in order to save thousands purchasing an existing one.

3D modeling and texturing was also required from me to assist the other 3D artists on the team.

Created island theme elements for the Home screen that carries out through all game screens.

Icon creation and middle image graphics.

I modeled and textured the airplane hangar. Plane was created by another artist.

Created new island theme button icons and elements to the navigation puck without changing the integrity of the core navigation used in all Sims games.

Created a custom font for the journal that I designed.
